The Benefits of Music

Echelon Youth Jazz Ensemble Director Dave Richards presents the Claire Daly Jazz Award

An important part of music education is helping the student experience the benefits of music in their daily lives.  The commitment and desire needed to excel in music carries over to all other parts of our lives no matter what our ultimate goals.  We can all obtain excellence, and music builds habits that help us develop our mind and creativity to it's full potential.  Also, Music is Fun!
